  6. This file provides information for Shareware Distributors, Disk Vendors and
  7. Computer Clubs who wish to distribute the Hot Keys 1.6 package.

  19.                          Distribution Requirements

  22. Individuals who wish to distribute the Hot Keys 1.6 package to friends or
  23. associates may do so in accordance with the restrictions outlined in
  24. LICENSE.TXT.
  25.  
  26. Computer Clubs and User Groups wishing to add the Hot Keys 1.6 package to
  27. their disk library may do so in accordance with the Distribution
  28. Restrictions listed below.
  29.  
  30. Limited Distribution License:

  33. As the exclusive copyright holder for Hot Keys 1.6, the R2M Software Company
  34. authorizes distribution only in accordance with the following restrictions.
  35.  
  36. ASP Approved Vendors in good standing are hereby given permission to
  37. distribute Hot Keys 1.6 package.  Non-ASP member vendors must request
  38. permission prior to distributing this package.
  39.  
  40. The Hot Keys package is defined as containing all the material listed
  41. in the PACKING.LST text file.  If any files listed in the PACKING.LST text
  42. file, or the PACKING.LST file itself, are missing, then the package is not
  43. complete and distribution is forbidden.  Please contact us to obtain a
  44. complete package suitable for distribution.
  45.  
  46. The Hot Keys package - including all related program files and
  47. documentation files - CANNOT be modified in any way and must be
  48. distributed as a complete package, without exception.  The PACKING.LST
  49. text file contains a list of all files that are part of the Hot Keys
  50. package.

  52.    Small additions to the package, such as the introductory or installation
  53.    batch files used by many shareware disk vendors, are acceptable.
  54.  
  55. No price or other compensation may be charged for the Hot Keys
  56. package.  A distribution fee may be charged for the cost of the diskette,
  57. shipping and handling, as long as the total (per disk) does not exceed
  58. US$8.00 in the U.S. and Canada, or US$12.00 internationally.

  60. Disk Sets & CD-ROMs:

  62. The Hot Keys package CANNOT be sold as part of some other inclusive
  63. package.  Nor can it be included in any commercial software packaging
  64. offer, without a written agreement from the R2M Software Company.
  65.  
  66.    ASP Approved Vendors who wish to distribute the Hot Keys package
  67.    as part of a collection (such as PsL's MegaDisk set, or a CD-ROM
  68.    package) may do so provided that all the other restrictions are met.
  69.  
  70.    Vendors (non-ASP Vendor Members) who wish to distribute the
  71.    Hot Keys package as part of a collection (such as PsL's MegaDisk
  72.    set, or a CD-ROM package) must obtain permission from the R2M
  73.    Software Company prior to beginning such a distribution.

  75.    If you wish to add any of our programs to a CD-ROM or other collection,
  76.    please check the release date of the version you have.  If the version
  77.    is over twelve (12) months old then please contact us to ensure that you
  78.    have the most current version.  This version was released in December,
  79.    1994.

  81. Disk-of-the-Month (or Subscription) Distribution:

  83. If you would like to distribute the Hot Keys package as a Disk-of-the-
  84. Month, or as part of a subscription or monthly service, then the
  85. following restrictions apply:

  87.    ASP Associate (Disk Vendor) Members in good standing are hereby given
  88.    permission to distribute the Hot Keys package under the Disk-of-
  89.    the-Month style of distribution.
  90.  
  91.    Others (non-ASP Members) must contact us in advance to ensure that you
  92.    have the most current version of the software.
  93.  
  94.    You cannot use a Disk-of-the-Month distribution to use up your inventory
  95.    of old (out of date) disks.  Only current versions may be shipped as
  96.    Disk-of-the-Month disks.

  98. The Hot Keys package cannot be "rented" or "leased" to others.
  99.  
  100. You may not list any of our products in advertisements, catalogs, or other
  101. literature which describes our products as "FREE SOFTWARE".  Shareware is
  102. "Try-Before-You-Buy" software, it is not free.
  103.  
  104. The R2M Software Company prohibits the distribution of outdated versions
  105. of the Hot Keys package, without written permission from the R2M Software
  106. Company. If the version you have is over twelve (12) months old, please
  107. contact us to ensure that you have the most current version.  This
  108. version was released in December, 1994.
  109.  
  110. Licensee shall not use, copy, rent, lease, sell, modify, or transfer the
  111. licensed program except as provided in this agreement.  Any such
  112. unauthorized use shall result in immediate and automatic termination of
  113. this license.

  115. U.S. Government Information:  Use, duplication, or disclosure by the U.S.
  116. Government of the computer software and documentation in this package shall
  117. be subject to the restricted rights applicable to commercial computer
  118. software as set forth in subdivision (b)(3)(ii) of the Rights in Technical
  119. Data and Computer Software clause at 252.227-7013 (DFARS 52.227-7013).  The
  120. Contractor/manufacturer is the R2M Software Company, 1520 S. Downing,
  121. Seaside, OR 97138.
